Everyone is going green these days, so I recycled this Schwan's ice cream box (plus it gave me a reason to finish off the last of the ice cream).
I spray painted the box and lid with black paint. Before I did that, I sprayed primer on it, because the trim on the lid is plastic, so in order for the paint to stick, it needed primer. Then I used some ribbon, flowers, and buttons. I think I will use this box to put all of the secret sister swap gifts in.
During our phone conversation today, my daughter asked me to make her a new calendar for her purse. Each year, when Michael's has those $1 pocketbook calendars, I buy a few of them and personalize them for my family and friends. Well, I guess she uses her so much it fell apart this year. So luckily, I had another left. The paper is a retired line from TAC.
